HPD High Performance Oil Catch Can Kits.

HPD oil catch cans / oil air separators prevent oil from entering into the intake manifold and mixing with the carbon from the EGR, clogging up vital components and potentially causing damage.

Modern 4WDs tend to have more parts in the intake manifold such as sensors and EGR valves that can malfunction due to the oil film produced.

The HPD direct bolt on separator kits are ideal for 4WDs running an intercooler or turbo kit and the come complete with mounting brackets, rubber hoses and hose clamps. The separators eliminate oil vapour that can contaminate the intake system and therefore helps keep the intercooler clean (Internally). This translates into more efficient cooling and better power delivery from your engine.

Super Utes

So what is it we do as the Official Turbocharger Supplier?

In this role, it is our job to build and supply all the modified turbochargers for the SuperUtes in the series.  At the same time, we are hard at work behind the scenes forming future developments to produce extra performance.

How do we do it?

Prior to all the engines being dyno tuned they go through a series of rigorous checks, using a specialist piece of equipment, which places us at the forefront of passenger vehicle VNT turbocharger fault diagnosis technology.

The TC Workbench boasts the capabilities of, not only being able to test the function of the VNT Actuator, but it allows us to ensure that the Variable Vanes settings are correct.  Plus, for us, having a VSR Cartridge Balancer incorporated is a bonus, as is the ability to measure and analyse the efficiency of compressor wheels, from a standard to a Hiflow wheel configuration. This extra capability has provided us with some valuable information.

With MTQ’s involvement in supplying turbochargers to the SuperUtes Series, the TC Workbench is undoubtedly a valuable asset for future development of modified turbochargers; ensuring any changes made, move in the right direction before the engines are dyno tuned.
